Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bid Preparation Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and preparing bid proposals for solar PV and water pumping projects primarily in Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the bid preparation process, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, finance, operations) to gather required information and documentation for bid proposals on time
Analyze bid documents, identify key requirements, and develop comprehensive response strategies.
Coordinate with client
Prepare technical and commercial proposals in accordance with client specifications.
Conduct thorough research on project requirements, market trends, and competitor analysis.
Ensure compliance with bidding guidelines and procedures.
Maintain a bid preparation database and document management system.
Manage and coordinate the successful bid submission process
Support the bid team in proposal presentations and clarifications.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in bid preparation, preferably in the solar or water pumping industry.
Proven track record of successful bid submissions.
Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and bid preparation software.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of solar and water pumping technologies
general experience with electrical and/or construction projects
Experience with preparing international bids for different countries and organizations
Experience with World Bank bidding procedures is a plus.
